This is a Pangolin, a mammal with scales made of hair. It can dig and climb trees, and its tail is prehensile - that is, the pangolin can grab objects like branches with it. This endangered species is highly vulnerable to the pet trade, which is responsible for more than 100,000 pangolin abductions each and every year. The goal of this picture is to promote endangered species awareness and conservation efforts.
