Artist's Description

The okapi looks like a horse but is in fact a giraffe. Oh, how I look at him and laugh. This animal is endangered; it was once found in Uganda and the Congo but over the past century the okapi was eliminated outside of the Congo River Basin. The okapi was discovered less than 150 years ago. It is a very unique creature that deserves our recognition and protection.
