Mustangs are wild stallions that have been introduced to the North American prairies by the European settlers that conquered them in the 19th Century. Today, they are common and represent the defiance of animals that refuse to be domesticated. This picture is featured as the front cover of my first "Wild Writers" book.
About Andrew Blitman
Andrew Blitman is an artist and the author of 13 books, who grew up in Cooper City, Florida, and received a Masters in Marine Conservation Science and Policy from the University of Miami in May 2014. There, he blogged on Wordpress. The blog posts evolved into multiple books, including a memoir of his experiences on a 2012 Birthright trip to Israel: "Birthright 2012: A Voyage into the Heart and Soul of Israel". Beginning in June 2017, Blitman released a three-book collection of poems titled, "Wild Writers". He is both the author and the illustrator for all of them.
