This is the artist's favorite picture, the one that won him first place in visual art at the 2004 Broward County Fair. This moment is locked in time as a marine biologist's interpretation of Picasso (or the other way around).
About Andrew Blitman
Andrew Blitman is an artist and the author of 13 books, who grew up in Cooper City, Florida, and received a Masters in Marine Conservation Science and Policy from the University of Miami in May 2014. There, he blogged on Wordpress. The blog posts evolved into multiple books, including a memoir of his experiences on a 2012 Birthright trip to Israel: "Birthright 2012: A Voyage into the Heart and Soul of Israel". Beginning in June 2017, Blitman released a three-book collection of poems titled, "Wild Writers". He is both the author and the illustrator for all of them.
